The Globe, a new apartment building managed by Horizon Management Services, Inc., held a private dedication ceremony and a public open house Thursday to mark its grand opening. State Sen. Scott Fitzgerald, state Rep. John Jagler and Mayor John David were among the speakers at the dedication.
Construction of the new Camelback Lodge and Aquatopia Indoor Waterpark is well underway. Scheduled to open Spring 2015 Camelback Lodge will feature 453 guest rooms, multiple dining options, adult and kids spa, 20,000 sq ft of event space along with a 30,000 sq ft family entertainment center, indoor ropes courses, laser tag arena, bowling, and glow in the dark mini golf. Connected to the lodge is Aquatopia, the largest indoor waterpark in the Northeast. At 125,000 sq ft it will house 13 innovative water slides, 7 pools, a wave pool, and FlowRider.
