CoCo Key – Boston

Horizon provided complete design-assist services to construct a 55,000 square foot water resort addition and hotel renovation to the Ferncroft Resort in Danvers, MA.

This was our first project on the East Coast, and our fourth partnership with CoCo Key, and the results were very successful. The overall construction was completed on budget and delivered to the owner one month earlier than the contractual turnover date.

There were many site issues on the project including glacial till and challenging boulder material. We were able to negotiate and absorb $200,000 in site remediation that was encountered without passing through to the project owner.

The completed project features water slides, an adventure river, a play structure, an indoor/outdoor spa, and authentic theming to emulate historic Key West, Florida.
