Ryan Alvin

As a Principal and Vice President of Construction, Ryan oversees all of the pre-construction, budgeting, and project management services for each Horizon construction project.

Ryan’s primary responsibilities include leading the project team in attaining budget requirements, which ensures a competitive buyout process. He also guides clients throughout the construction process from the conceptual development stage, including cost-estimating, phasing, and site logistics, through final construction and ensuring projects are completed on time and within budget.

Prior to joining the Horizon team in 2004, Ryan’s career included roles as a construction project manager, estimator, and project engineer for projects in both the private and public sectors.

Ryan is involved in numerous national organizations, including the Design Build Institute of America, Associated Builders and Contractors, Construction Management Association and the National Association of Home Builders. He received his Bachelor of Science in Construction Management with a Minor in Business Administration from the University of Wisconsin Platteville.
